Just a quick update here... went and saw Mom again today and her blood count is slowly starting to come back up... When she first went into the hospital on Tuesday her white blood count was at 0.2-it is now up to 0.8. Now I know that that may not seem like THAT much of a change but every little bit helps!!! So right now we are hoping that the count will go up over night and that it is up high enough tomorrow so that Mom can go home. However, Mom said tonight that as much as she really, REALLY wants to go home, if Dr. Pansegrau feels like Mom should stay another night then she won't argue that at all. Oh, and Mom's temperature was 37.6C when they took it this evening which is good news... It means the fever is going away!!!!
Let's all hope for higher numbers tomorrow!!!

I'm glad to see a bit of an improvement -- that's encouraging! Now about the willingness to stay at the hospital an extra day if required -- is that because Brian's cooking scares you that bad, or because the hospital food has gotten better??!!!
Take care, and get some rest (like they let you do THAT at a hospital!) Anyway, just a quickie to say we are thinkin' about you!

Just got a call from Roni - she's sounding well and pret' near back to 'normal'... Do you know what 'normal' is when her and I get together?? Well, let's just say that we never need to look for trouble...
So I got the 'heat' from Roni, about Rick's comment, on Brian's cooking!!! lol Oh well, like I said, I/we never need to 'look' for trouble!!
We had a good laugh over the comment, and the fact that Roni thought that I had posted it!! Laughter IS the best medicine, right? Means she's gettin' better!
Roni was also somewhat distraught over the fact that there are no 'hunks' on that floor to gawk at..., so I told her to venture to another floor... what's the holdup?
Hope you get 'sprung' today, Roni. We miss you on FB and the computer!
